Respiratory Therapy

Welcome to the Brookdale Community College Respiratory Therapy webpages. These will provide you with information about the Brookdale program and the profession.

We have included information about the nature of the work respiratory therapists do, current job outlook and earnings, the Allied Health Policy at Brookdale, and curriculum requirements.

Before considering applying to the program, take time to investigate the profession. Observing respiratory therapists at work, speaking with professional therapists, visiting Brookdale’s Library or researching the profession online – all these will help you better understand the Brookdale program and the job requirements.

Any questions about entering the Respiratory Therapy program may be addressed to Beth Stryker in the Admissions office at 732-224-2330 or bstryker@brookdalecc.edu

Questions about prerequsites and program courses should be addressed to a Program Student Development Specialist at 732-224-2586.

If you have specific questions about the field, or would like to arrange a visit to observe a professional therapist at a local hospital, please contact Carol Schedel at 732-224-2692 or cschedel@brookdalecc.edu
