About the Current Exhibit

More than 30 artists from Asheville, Spruce Pine, and other western North Carolina arts enclaves will be featured in the new exhibition “Clay Directions,” opening Tuesday, September 1, at the Center for the Visual Arts (CVA) at Brookdale Community College.

The exhibition will include more than 90 pieces of pottery, glass, wood and weaving collected by Brookdale art professor Lori Uffer during a sabbatical in the arts communities of the Blue Ridge Mountains last fall.

The “Clay Directions: Western North Carolina Clay Artists” exhibition is free and open to all, and on display through September 17.
